Noah’s Park - “Feel the pleasure of a place you thought never existed…”

It’s a hot Saturday but we were all game to have a scorching adventure at Noah’s Park located in Rodriguez, Rizal.

The park has swimming pools if you wanna soak and swim (just remember to put on sunscreen!), cabanas and cottages to offer shade, man-made lake for fishing and boating (but during our visit, the lake was parched. Too much heat?)

It’s too hot to wander so we opted to just stay here and watch the ongoing activities around us.

Avilon is the largest zoological park in the Philippines. Must-haves while touring around the zoo: Bottle of water to avoid dehydration, hankie/tissue to wipe off sweat, sunglasses to protect those eyes, and of course camera to take pics of the beautiful animals and to capture memories too :)

Let’s Celebrate

April 22, 2012: Noli’s Graduation. Master of Technology Management (UP-Diliman)

We spent the afternoon strolling along the campus.

After the tiring yet fun leisurely walk, we checked out one of the addictive tea stores: Serenitea, QC.

Fleeting

A realization just hit me… and it scared the hell out of me. I wanted to run away. Hide in a place where I can shield myself and protect my heart.

Realizing my feelings scares me. It’s weird to feel this way and I think I know the reason why. I’ve never changed. I’m still that insecure little girl pretending to be strong, hiding behind the walls I built to keep myself from falling deep…

Was surprised to see this in my Draft folder. A tumblog I wasn’t able to finish. I don’t anymore remember what my feelings were while drafting this. Well, emotions come and go.

Some Emotions are “Second-Hand” Feelings

Love is a second-hand emotion.

By “second- hand” it means that before you feel them you feel something else first.  Second-hand emotions are nearly always a choice. The feeling is just as real, but you choose it nonetheless. These second-hand emotions include anger, worry, and love. No one ever makes you angry. Nobody ever makes you worry. And no one ever makes or breaks your ability to love them.

All of these, and maybe more, are choices you make.

One Summer Sunday

Kuleet and I wandered along Makati at around noon to look for a place to eat.

For lunch, we stuffed ourselves with breakfast food at Agahan (a restaurant in Makati that serves breakfast all day).

I had Longsilog and Kuleet feasted on Tocilog with Hot Choco.

The place is refreshing with its colorful interior that fits the summer season.

Next stop, Red Mango. It’s always fun to bond over our comfort food: Yogurt with yummy toppings. Blueberry, strawberry, choco chips, and kiwi for my yogurt while Kuleet’s choice of toppings are kiwi, mango, choco chips, and almond.

On our way home, we passed by Legaspi park and to my delight, we spotted a turtle ornament made of stone.

And for dinner, our craving is maki to-go. California for me and Spicy Beef for Kuleet.
